This presentation will draw from a forthcoming book manuscript titled Doing Public Scholarship: A Practical Guide to Media Engagement (Routledge). The principal aim of this talk is to outline a practical, media-centered approach to doing public scholarship that consists of, and brings together, interrelated forms of media engagement. Those interested in pursuing various forms of public scholarship, no matter their discipline, will find parallels with some key points outlined during the presentation.
